Thu 31st Spiral Scratch presents BALLBOY + The Smittens + Pocketbooks
Doors 7.30 The legendary Edinburgh four-piece return to London for the first time since the Spiral Scratch alldayer in June 2007. Ballboy combine uniquely humorous and clever lyrics against warm blankets of sound to create deeply poignant songs about everyday life. Huge favourites of the late, great John Peel and following in a rich vein of romantic guitar music similar to The Wedding Present, Ballboy are the shining light of the not-so-young sound of Scotland. The band just finished recording its fifth album and this show will be one of the first opportunities for fans to hear the results.
