Hailing from Austin, Texas, Red Hunter’s Peter & the Wolf project utilise little more than a guitar and vocals to create wondrous songs that examine past relationships through halcyon lens of hindsight. Known for his unconventional touring methods, including travelling by sailboat and playing in graveyards, Red will playing songs from his numerous beautifully hand crafted releases. Replete with the addition of violin, glockenspiel, casio & drums Planet Earth plays delicate songs fraught with the existential crises and political guilt of the modern life. Reminiscent of Phil Elverum or Jeffrey Lewis at his story telling best these are songs to hold close to the heart lest they break from the weight of the world. |
